"We loved our stay here. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The front desk staff were delightful and accommodating. The bar/restaurant had good food and drinks, great atmosphere with fun, lively staff and a great pianist! Easy walking to shops, restaurants and the ‘must not it miss’ - train depot."

"The General Palmer Hotel is a special historic hotel. Beautiful and comfortable in all areas. A few things that would make this hotel excellent would be in-room coffee, complimentary water bottles in room, and more or brighter lighting in the rooms. There was not a smart tv in the room but for us it was a minor issue. Beds were very comfortable and the decor matched the feel of the historic hotel. "

"We had a really nice stay. It was great for dog owners, being on the path and next to the river. The river running by drowned out traffic noise. My only complaint was the bar/restaurant. The ambiance and staff were great, but the food was not great and overpriced. "

"My room was nice and near the office. The room was clean and stocked with coffee as well as microwave and fridge. That was perfect for me. The lobby had a very limited continental breakfast. I wished the windows would stay open to let in the fresh Colorado air. Oh and the water was nice and hot and good water pressure too."
