Living Space

The apartment is located on the first floor and is accessed through a shared entrance with the downstairs Garden Apartment. Inside, the property offers a comfortable open plan living, dining and kitchen area designed for both relaxation and practical living during your stay.

The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for self catering, while the dining and lounge space offers a comfortable area to unwind after a day exploring the city.

Additional features such as triple glazed windows and modern gas central heating help ensure the apartment remains comfortable throughout the year.

Bedrooms

The apartment includes two spacious en suite bedrooms. Each room can be arranged as either a super king bed or twin beds, offering flexibility for couples, families or groups. Please confirm your preferred bed configuration at the time of booking.

A washing machine is also available, which can be particularly useful for longer stays.

The apartment sits within the grounds of Taypark House in Dundee’s West End, directly beside the Botanic Gardens. This location provides easy access to both natural surroundings and the city itself.

Dundee Airport is nearby and Ninewells Hospital is a short distance away, making the property convenient for visitors travelling for work or medical appointments. A pleasant walk through the nearby university area leads into Dundee city centre where you will find attractions including the RRS Discovery and the V and A Dundee museum.

The surrounding area also offers easy access across the River Tay to the countryside of Fife.

Nearby Facilities

Although the apartment sits within the grounds of Taypark House Hotel, the accommodation is managed separately from the hotel itself. Guests are welcome to visit the hotel’s bar and restaurant if they wish, or reserve one of the outdoor dining domes through the hotel directly.

Transport and Parking

Free private parking is available in the hotel car park. Public transport is also convenient, with a bus stop located at the entrance to the grounds. The main bus route connects the property with the city centre, the university and Ninewells Hospital.

Guest Access and Communication

Guests have full access to the apartment during their stay. Hosts are not present on site, however messages are monitored through the booking platform and assistance is available if required.
