Best of all, the Train Car Retreat is across the street from the best Public Beach Access on Park Point, with 7 miles of white sand beach, and shares the corner with a playground and picnic area. This unique home started its life as a passenger car on Park Point and dates back to the 1920's-30's when the the road replaced the tracks.You can enjoy touches of original woodwork, windows, and hardware from the train car which makes up the living room and Sleeping Car bedroom. The Train Car Retreat is filled with vintage, and custom furniture, local art, and creatively restored train elements. There is an updated, fully equipped kitchen addition with heated floors and patio access. A remodeled bathroom with heated floors and an enormous walk in shower. Upstairs, a master bedroom with king size custom made bed, and matching archway restoration creates privacy in the main level Sleeping Car, with a queen size, old-school murphy bed.
