New luxury apartment Vala, Zaton

Newly refurbished two floor apartment just on the sea..you´ll enjoy the tranquility of this small place just outside Dubrovnik..

Our house Vala is completely isolated from the general public. You can even enter it, if you wish, through the garage. The private terrace for sunbathing and with an eating corner is spacious, and can not be used by anyone other than you. The access to the sea from the house back door is only a couple of meters distant, and the area on the seaside gives enough possibility to keep social distancing. The entire house is cleaned thoroughly and chemically disinfected and left for 24 hrs between each guest rotation to ensure your safety as often as possible.
Our holiday house, called Vala (the old local name for the bay), is located in Zaton Mali, 8 km from the city of Dubrovnik. The old stone building is a part of an ancient olive mill and fully equipped for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The house is situated on the very waterfront, giving the possibility for a quick swim at any time of the day. It's big private terrace is a perfect place for sunbathing, enjoying your meals or just sitting and enjoying the scenery.

Duplex apartment offers accommodation for up to 4persons. Two spacious bedrooms on the ground floor have one double bed and 2 single beds. Double bed bedroom offers amazing sea views from the window. Ground floor also has a bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. Extra room, on the ground floor as well, has an exit to a shared terrace and the sea is not even one meter away. Extra room has wooden furniture, table and chairs, perfect for some business things you need to take car off while on vacation or if you just want to read a book in silence..it can also serve as a touch point while swimming outside, as you can enter there wet.High ceiling first floor is where the kitchen, dining area, living room and the second bathroom are. Large sofa bed can accommodate one extra person. Bathroom also comes with a shower and a hairdryer.Kitchen is fully equipped (stove, stove top, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge kitchen utensils) so you can prepare yourself a meal to enjoy it on a big furnished private terrace with sea view. Terrace has two large parasols, that protect you from the sun so you can enjoy it during the day as well as in the evening.Apartment is completely air conditioned, has free WiFi and LCD TV with satellite channels in the living room. It also has floor heating so it´s recommendable to stay in during the winter as well.

On walking distance is a small beach suitable for young children (100 m), as well as Soline Beach (1.5 km) and Štikovica Beach (1.1 km). In the village is possible to rent a boat or a kayak and to book a day trip to the Elaphite islands.
The nearest food shops are on walking distance, as well as a couple of restaurants offering local food.

Zaton is situated in a beautiful, natural bay surrounded by hills and only 8 kilometers northwest of Dubrovnik. This place can be reached by car or by boat only. It consists of two smaller villages/bays Veliki and Mali Zaton (Big Zaton and Small Zaton). Rich middle-class families living in Dubrovnik during the Ragusa Republic in the 15th century were already building their holiday or weekend houses in Zaton in the Renaissance style.In Zaton itself, there are a few small shops, a tourist information center, a couple of excellent seafood restaurants, bars, cafés, bakeries, and a post office. These 2 bays have several small, pebbled beaches. The most popular beach is located at the eastern end of the bay in the village of Stikovica.
