Our stay was unfortunately disappointing overall.
The pool area was much smaller than expected, and on our first day there was no space available for us. There was also ongoing renovation work around the pool, causing noise and dust, which affected the atmosphere. The pool staff member that day was kind and helpful, which we appreciated.
We had a very negative first impression due to a staff member named Alvin, who was rude and aggressive in his communication. He did not greet us and lacked basic hospitality skills, which made our welcome uncomfortable.
More seriously, housekeeping left our room door completely open after cleaning. We returned hours later to find it wide open with our valuables inside. Although we received an apology, no gesture of compensation was offered, which was disappointing.
Towards the end of our stay, I became ill and ordered room service. I was told it would arrive in five minutes, but it took 30–45 minutes and only arrived after I called again.
On a positive note, Ramees from the souvenir shop was extremely kind and professional. He truly stood out and deserves recognition.
Unfortunately, the negative experiences outweighed the positives.
