Desperately needs Maintenance and TLC.

Took a gamble on an unrated apartment, didn't pay off. Pro's. * Location is superb as you are right in the middle of downtown and within walking distance of all the attractions in the area, including the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall , taxi ride from the airport is a mere 15 minutes. Cons * Musty smell due to air-conditioning not being cleaned. * Floors not cleaned and somewhat sticky. * Walls need a good coat of paint as in places there are previous stains and marks. * Sliding door in lounge needs fixing as excluder is broken so does not close properly. * Bedroom window is broken and cannot be closed properly so heat and noise is more apparent, * Other fixtures are in need of repair (bathroom taps, towel holder falling off wall among others) * There is a building site opposite which operates pretty much 24/7 this is not mentioned at all in the listing * Mosque also pretty much opposite with the call to prayer 5 times over day/night, again not mentioned. * Seeing as the windows are broken both can be heard clearly and constantly. * Beds are uncomfortable and lumpy to the extreme with the springs and mattresses no doubt very old. Getting a good nights sleep is out of the question. With all of the above I left way before check-out day as I needed a decent nights rest, Its a real shame as this place has the potential to be a superb find with the location, it has though by the looks of it just been left to deteriorate with lip service on maintenance and upkeep
