Welcome to Anisidi Lodge, hosted by New River Getaways - a peaceful riverfront cabin on the New River in the New River Valley designed for couples, families, and small groups. This log cabin offers 3 bedrooms, an open loft, and 2 full bathrooms, along with expansive porches and direct river access ideal for slowing down and making meaningful memories in Southwest Virginia. Arrival & First Impressions



As you arrive at Anisidi Lodge, you’re welcomed by classic log cabin charm and wide covered porches that wrap around the front of the home. The cabin sits elevated above the landscape, offering open views, fresh air, and the calming presence of the New River nearby.



The driveway leads to a peaceful setting with mature trees, open lawn, and the steady sound of water in the background. From the moment you step onto the porch, the pace feels slower — inviting you to settle in and stay awhile.



The Interior Experience



Inside, the lodge feels warm, cozy, and intentionally designed for comfort. Natural wood tones, large windows, and open gathering spaces create an inviting environment that blends rustic character with everyday functionality.

A washer and dryer are available for longer stays, and the cabin is fully climate-controlled with heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort.



Relaxation & Cabin Moments



Guests can unwind in the indoor one-person jet tub, enjoy relaxed evenings inside, or head downstairs to the unfinished basement where a small selection of games and chairs are available for casual use.



Outdoor Living & Riverfront Setting



Step outside to enjoy direct access to the New River — ideal for fishing, relaxing by the water, or simply watching the river roll by. A covered wraparound porch and private balcony offer comfortable outdoor seating, while the spacious yard features an in-ground fire pit, grill, and plenty of room to spread out.



Evenings are best spent gathered around the fire pit, listening to the river, and enjoying the quiet that comes with being surrounded by nature.



What a Stay Feels Like



Mornings begin with coffee on the porch overlooking the river. Days are filled with outdoor adventures or peaceful downtime. Evenings bring grilling, fire pit conversations, and unwinding as the stars come out. Nights end cozy and content, with the sounds of the river in the background.

Things to know before you book:



• Indoor 1 person jet tub only (no outdoor hot tub)

• Access to the river is limited at the moment due to bank changes from hurricaine helene - plans are in place to revive the bank for easy access for the upcoming season.

• Rural location - wild life is abundant in the area. It is important that you do not interact or feed any wildlife. Always make sure trash is secure. We are available to pick up excess trash during your stay.

• WiFi is available through Starlink

• Propane firepit - Propane provided

• Firewood provided for the fire pit

• Pet fee applies. Please follow local leash laws and pick up after your pet. Waste bags provided.

• Quiet hours encouraged to preserve the peaceful setting 10pm-8am

• Fireworks and guns are prohibited on New River Getaways properties

• No events or parties

• No smoking or vaping inside the home

• Early check in and late check out are subject to availability and are available separately with an additional $20 fee

A refundable $300 authorization is held before your stay and released after departure inspection.
