Charming Log Cabin!

Log Cabin With lots of Privacy

Charming log cabin on 3.8 acres is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Estes Park. Enjoy your coffee in the mornings or wildlife viewing from the private wrap around porch. This unique cabin is part of the Storm Mountain quiet community which includes a neighboring fish pond about .5 miles down the road. The cabin was built in 1985 however has modern updates; you still have the rustic cabin feel with all the comforts of staying in a home. Featuring 2 bedrooms; the master has a king and the 2nd bedroom has a double. The loft has a queen for additional guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your basic needs to cook a homemade meals. A laundry room is available for your convenience. 4WD or AWD drive is going to be a must in the snowy months our snowy months vary but can be from October to April. Come and enjoy a real Rocky Mountain experience and make your dream vacation come true!

VACATION RENTAL CONTRACT
This vacation rental contract is a legal agreement between Estes Park Property Management
(also referred to as the “Property Manager”) and you, the Renters (also referred to as “Tenants”
and “Guests”). This contract is entered into as of the date when the Renters place their
reservation online and the reservation is screened and accepted by the Property Manager. By booking this property you automatically agree to the House Rules.

Cleaning Policy:
The Vacation Rental must be left picked up and the departure instructions followed. If there are difficulties following the departure instructions, the renter should notify the property manager.
Reservation Policy:
We, the Renters (also referred to as “Tenants” and “Guests”) agree to the following:
1. We will be completely responsible for any and all damages to the property caused by
our negligence.
2. We will notify the owners of any damage upon arrival.
3. We will hold the owners harmless from any and all bodily injury and/or property
damage incurred on the property arising out of our negligent acts or omissions. See
disclaimer below.
4. We will pay for any fee that is reasonably attributable to broken, damaged, or missing
items.
5. Please follow the cancellation policy through the website you booked through.
6. There are no refunds for early departure.
7. There are no refunds for snow or weather conditions.
8. All rental monies are due 30 days prior to arrival.
9. All trash must be bagged and placed in bear proof trash can or cost of $45 for unbagged trash.
10. We will not hold the owners responsible for any items left after our check out if we get the request to send items back, we will charge postal costs plus $15 for packaging.
11. Lost keys will incur replacement costs of $50
12. This is not a party house.
13. This is a NON-SMOKING vacation rental.
14. Pets are NOT allowed in the rental unless property allows dogs or approved by the
property manager.
15. The Town of Estes Park passed an Ordinance which makes it against the law to exceed the maximum stated occupancy.
16. Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is 10:00 am. An early check-in or late checkout is subject to extra rental charges.
17. The Renter must be 21 years of age to book this vacation rental.
18. Please look at the cancellation policy. By signing this agreement, you are agreeing to the terms of the cancellation policy.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be responsible for accidents or
injury to guests or for loss of their money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind.
Disclaimer:
Renters understand that the Property Manager is not responsible for any personal injury caused
by slipping on snow or ice, and that tenants are responsible for the removal of snow and ice
around the doorways and paths to car, to include the parking area.
And further that the homeowners are not responsible for any personal injury or loss or damage to
tenants’ property caused directly or indirectly from foul, inclement weather conditions, acts of
god or nature, failure of heat, accidents related to fire, heaters, stoves, tenants’ failure to remove
snow around access areas, or any unforeseeable circumstances.
Under no circumstances will tenants or their guests hold the owners of the vacation rental
responsible for any damages or claims of any kind resulting from their stay, except for
intentional acts of harm.
This agreement and disclaimer applies to Renters and all guests in the Renters’ party.
I, the Renter, have read, understand, agree to, and will abide by this rental agreement and all
conditions stated herein.

Truly an amazing cabin stay for a couples trip in Colorado! Our only recommendation is 4 wheel drive and making sure you have a map or gps if service goes out!

Quiet but noisy

Nice cabin in the woods. When the neighborhood dogs weren’t barking it was quiet and serene pine woods view off the side deck. The front deck looks down on a junky neighbor with three massive dogs she lets roam free. No trails so have to walk on the neighborhood dirt roads which is fine; however the last day two massive dogs blocked my way back home in the middle of the road. It was the first time in a long time I actually feared for my life. However, they barked ferociously but backed into their driveway as I approached them do I made it safely by. Do not go out on a walk without something to defend yourself with! The management company was awesome as the cabin was freezing when we arrived and they went a maintenance person that night to fix the heater. No screens on most of the windows so if it’s hot out you’ll have to keep them closed to keep the bugs and the bears out. We didn’t see any bears but we did hear them and see their scat. A few wild turkeys paid us a visit which was very cool.

Rocky Mountain National Park (near) Secluded Cabin

Located about 30 minutes from Estes Park and RMNP, this secluded cabin is an ideal refuge from the crowds after a busy day of exploring. We visited in September, and while it may not be necessary to traverse the road to the cabin in a four wheel drive vehicle, having 4WD will instill confidence. The covered outdoor porch is a nice place to relax in the evening. Some type of ventilation in the kitchen would be helpful while cooking. The smoke alarms are sensitive. An outdoor grill would be a nice addition, but I can see how that may attract animals. The showers have strong water pressure and the bedrooms provided a pleasant night's sleep. Overall, we enjoyed the cabin and had a wonderful Colorado experience!

Peaceful Cabin

The cabin was very nice. It is a very peaceful spot. The drive to the cabin from the highway takes a little while and the roads are rough in spots. The driveway is very steep and you need a running start for sure if you don't have 4-wheel drive. Convenient enough to Estes Park.
