"This is my third stay in this gorgeous hotel, conveniently located on main street within easy walking distance of cafés, bars and restaurants. Contemporary decor, huge rooms, well maintained grounds. I love that there is both an indoor and an outdoor pool. The views over the bay are just magical. You can swing in a hammock by the dock, admire the sunset or just chill in one of their many outdoor lounge areas. The breakfast is quite good with a choice of eggs, bacon, fresh waffles, fruits,...

"Stopped in Chincoteague Va on our way home from the Outer Banks. The Anchor Inn was an adorable Inn. Clean and comfortable. Our room had a balcony that faced the sound and we enjoyed the Sunset and a beautiful view with your coffee in the morning. The Inn is part of Marina Bay Hotel & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel. We definitely will stay there again"

"Staff was great but , we had to leave day earlier, the room was so musty . Humidity in the room was so intense that the bed and our clothes was wet . I understand that the staff told me “ ohh just adjust your temperature “ but then it was extremely cold on top the room that was wet . You can’t sleep or breathe so due to a health condition and health hazard we had to pack up and leave"

"For the price it was a very poor motel. Worn down, dirty, only one towel, the ice machine was broken, the air conditioner was very loud. Office time was from 8 am but no one was there 8.10. We will never come back."

"Staying in a "floating" bungalow was unique. Warning to those with mobility issues: it is not very easy to get up and onto the porch. It was quite a long walk on narrow, floating piers to get to the bungalow we were staying in, then it's a large step up from the floating pier onto the porch, especially during low tide.
Maybe those folks that take the reservations should ask customers if they have mobility issues before making the reservation."
