Hotel i Downtown, Banner Elk

"This resort is super familly friendly. Lots of things to do and in a beautiful landscape. Room / apartment was very clean an the kitchen was fully equipt. SUPER This resort is worth a stay."

"The place was brand new and fantastic in all aspects, especially the parking, staff, and all in the room!"

"extremely clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed."

"The property was clean upon arrival. It was nicely decorated and cozy. We visited during July 4th, which happened to be the hottest week of the summer so far. The issue I have with the property is that the listing failed to mention the home did not have air conditioning. I only discovered this after I made the reservation and received a confirmation email. At that point, my money was non-refundable. Despite having ceiling fans, the bedrooms reached a temperature of 84 degrees at night....

"The air conditioning did not work and there was no one there to help. We called the number on the website and the lady didn’t know what to do. We had to open windows to keep the room cooler but then had to deal with the outside noise and lights. We didn’t sleep much that night."

"Lovely room. Quiet and well situated for all sorts of activities on the area"

"Nice hotel close to downtown. Would suggest asking for a room in the back away from busy street. Though after 10:00 pm the noise was not too bad."

"The room was very cleaned but the problem we had was in the bathroom. There was large noise that continued continuously all night. It’s with the walls of the bathroom. Closing the bathroom door did not eliminate the noise. Not a good nights sleep. I told the front desk about the next morning and they’re aware of the situation and have had 2 vendors try to fix it to no avail. Why would they rent that room out to guests. It’s not the way you run an establishment. No sorry about it just an oh...

"It was a nice experience staying there, the only thing was that we ran out of hot water."

"Lovely property right in the center of town so easy access to the restaurants and shops. The town was seasonal decorated & Blowing Rock Memorial Park was full of blooming flowers! We did drive to the local attractions like the Moses Cone Manor which was wonderful! Lots of trails for walking; did the very interesting ranger led tour of the Manor house. The Embers Inn itself was very clean & attractive, room was nice size with comfortable bed & usual amenities. The staff was very helpful...

"Great hotel on a nice location in Boone."

"Fantastic hotel!! Just close enough to busy Boone but still far enough away to showcase the quiet, peacefulness of this beautiful area."

"Loved everything about it. The reception desk was so friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and the coffee and treats in the hall area were a wonderful surprise. The breakfast was great. Thank you!!"
