"A lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Very close to LA Tech and a short ride to Grambling. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, kitchen fully equipped. The freezer had not been cleaned and the Keurig machine needed a deep cleaning. The grill out back was too dirty to use. We did alert the host about these items and he was concerned and planned to follow up with his cleaning service. There was an Xbox that didn’t work and a Nintendo 64 that would not connect, but the 8 bit Nintendo...

"I want to start by saying the location and price of Sylvan Lake quiet place was excellent. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Also, our host was great about responding and answering questions when we had them. The cons for the trip were lack of organization in the house and cleaning supplies. We really struggled to find things in the kitchen to cook and eat with. Near the end of our stay we ran out of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. We searched but there was none throughout the...

Large outdoor area including porches and yard space. All in all, a very good property, well maintained with easy access to local eateries, activities, universities, etc."
