Casa Josefina welcomes you to Dólar, a village nestled between the Sierra Nevada and the Sierra de Baza natural park. This 150 sqm vacation home comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stovetop coffee maker, and homemade jam is provided for your enjoyment. Heating is available throughout the home, with wood-burning stoves in the kitchen, living room, and dining area, an electric heater in one bedroom, a pellet stove in another, and chimney heat reaching a third bedroom. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a TV, a fan, a washing machine, and a dryer.



Step outside to enjoy mountain views from 2 balconies or relax on the covered terrace. A private grill is at your disposal for outdoor meals.



4 shared parking spaces are available on site. Up to 2 pets are welcome, and smoking is allowed. Please note that parties or events are not permitted on the property.



2 local bars are situated right next to the property. From the village, you have direct access along well-maintained forest tracks to the Sulayr trail, which runs along the entire Sierra Nevada mountain range. In the Sierra de Dólar, you will find the Las Juntas area, where 2 streams converge at the Barranco de Piedra and the Barranco del Castañar. On the other side, the Sierra de Baza natural park is easily reachable via forest tracks. The Peñón de Joraique offers magnificent views of all the Sierra Nevada peaks across the Marquesado del Cenete, especially spectacular when covered in snow. From there, you can reach the Toril bivouac shelter along the Sulayr trail, and from that point it is a short distance to the Puerto de la Ragua.
