Our family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Although we had a quick trip through Dillsboro, you’re not a far drive from more developed towns. There was plenty of outdoor activities to do within the area and you have plenty of access ways to the river and creek side. (The creek side is public access, so you are able to hear families on the water or see people inputting rafts. The cabin was also not far from a fairly busy road. It was a perfect spot for us but it did make it difficult to enjoy the front porch for peace and quiet.) Other than that, the cabin was fantastic. It was nice and clean, but I appreciate how much character it had! It wasn’t your typical generic cabin look- it had a much more whimsical, romantic feel which I adored. My son and husband absolutely LOVED the trail in the backyard that led to a grassy patch by the creek. If you keep up with the Rocky Mountain railroad schedule, you can head back there to wave at the riders as they pass on their tour. That was a special surprise as we rode it our first day there on a different excursion. It was nice to come “home”after each busy day and still have plenty to do around the cabin for entertainment. We would absolutely choose this cabin again for our next visit and are so thankful for our time there!
