"We stayed for 4 nights and were upgraded to a 4th floor pool view with balcony as apparently we had paid too much through Hotels.com for the garden hut. "I stayed at a KGH The Maya Manor boutique in Kathmandu. Thought I’d give the Himalayan a try. Was not disappointed. Absolutely OUTSTANDING in every respect!! "Fairly quiet area. My room on the third floor was nice and drafty. It had access to the wrap around balcony and rooftop staircase access. This is a family owned hotel and they provide several things, such as laundry service, breakfast, taxi service, paragliding, bungee jumping, short and long Himalaya trekking expeditions with guides and transportation to all locations.
