Excellent stay. Minor things one being better couch very uncomfortable, perhaps some eating items such as paper plates, cups and eating utensils. But that is all, host very personable loved location.

Football getaway
Very spacious private suite in a lovely home. Barbara is a very thoughtful hostess, never hesitating to provide any little extras we needed. The location is perfect, and we will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Fit Our Needs Perfectly
Barb's home/suite is absolutely splendid. We needed a location that was safe and secure, as we were attending a car show in a neighboring city. Barb's location was perfect and the suite was so comfortable! It fit every need that we had. Barb was a delightful host and getting to meet Bandit was an added treat!

Best Place To Say in Rochester Hills
This is our third time staying at Barb's place, and you can't get any better than this! Beautiful, spacious apartment; excellent location to shopping and restaurants; perfect host. This is our home away from home when visiting our daughter in Shelby Township. Thanks, as always, Barb!

Amazing place to stay
In town for a night and glad I choose to stay here. Beautiful home they offer and the area alone is worth driving to see the beautoful landscapes. If you're lucky enough to meet bandit that alone will make the stay worth while. Fully plan on sfaying again in the future when i have events in the area.

A favorite place to stay
We have stayed with Barbara a number of times and will continue to do so--it is definitely one of our favorite places to stay: relaxing, friendly atmosphere makes it a home away from home.

Amazing birthday trip
Barbara's house is incredible! Could hardly believe we were staying in this beautiful home. Our suite was spacious and very comfortable. Barbara greeted us at the door and was very welcoming. She was kind enough to let us store our bikes in her garage so we didn't have to take them everywhere we went. We had a great birthday celebration getaway! Thanks so much, Barbara!

Great Location
We had an excellent stay. The location was fantastic, very close to downtown and only 10 minutes away from Oakland University. We were there to visit our daughter who is going to university and we had a fantastic time. Thank you for making this place available and affordable!

We had a great stay at Barb’s…the room/apartment was awesome, big shower, big living area and comfy bed…I also parked my boat out front to charge the batteries close enough to run an extension cord to it.

Review
Barb was a lovely and accommodating hostess. And it is possible I did not do enough research before booking her place. But there were really no kitchen facilities except for a microwave and a fridge. No cups, silverware, bowls. I asked for a spoon and a bowl and Barb immediately brought me one. The unit was advertised as an independent suite and I thought there should be more kitchen to it.

Found this lovely property when searching for a place to stay overnight. Barb (and Bandit) were so welcoming. Barb made check in easy and had great suggestions for dinner. The bed was really comfortable. Thank you for a peaceful place to stay.

Quick stay— awesome flexibility and help
Great spot if your are looking in the northern end of Detroit. The host was VERY accommodating and allowed me to check in very late after a long night of travel delays. Thank you! Book here with complete confidence that you will be cared for. And it’s much better than a cheap hotel! Thank you.

Barb was efficient, gracious, helpful, and just plain friendly. the suite was incredible, and her generosity was wonderful. We were mostly absent and visiting family all day, but she accommodated us any time we asked. What a wonderful lady and a terrific suite. By the way, Bandit the cat was a freat greeter and welcomer.

Cozy Stay in Rochester
My partner and I performed at a concert in Detroit and needed an affordable place to stay for the weekend that was also safe and spacious enough for us to leave our expensive gear during our trip. This spot was the most affordable place we could find with guaranteed parking, although it's about 40 minutes away from the venue we were performing at. And it was totally worth it! Barb was very kind and accommodating and assured us our valuables would be safe either in our car in her parking area or we could bring stuff into her foyer or our room. This really helped us enjoy our trip without worries of where to store our stuff. This is our first stay at a place without a private entrance, and we have no complaints. Barb was welcoming and it was easy getting in/out of the house. Totally stress free. The guest suite was cozy and spacious - even better in person than in the photos. It felt like we had our own king suite with a living room in a hotel. There is also a very sweet cat that greeted us at our door every morning!

Barb & Bill have a gorgeous and very unique home which gives access to a lovely, quiet suite in a beautiful historic area in Michigan. The suite is simply furnished but warm, homelike and very large. Barb is a sweet and lovely hostess but the real host in our opinion is Bandit, their beautiful and very friendly cat. He made us not miss all our animals as much. I wish we had had time to explore all the historic sites around the area as they are many. If ever we get a chance to come back to this area, we will definitely stay here again! As a former innkeeper, I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet retreat but especially to solo female travelers.

Beautiful home. Your space is within a home where a family lives but there was no disruption as we were in a private wing. Coffee in the morning; a packaged danish and fresh fruit along with the coffee would be appreciated and B&B name would be appropriate and a super addition to a great stay.

The hosts are super friendly as is their cat, who instantly became my friend. The rooms and property are incredible, unlike any rental home in the area. Will happily rent from them whenever I’m in town!
