"The breakfast sucked. The second day we skipped breakfast and went to town to get a decent breakfast. Window in room leaked water when it rained. Was told where our room was located and it turned out that wasn’t the location. Had to park in different area."
"Overall q quaint little boutique hotel in downtown Ouay. Great condition for a hotel over 100 years old. The continental breakfast was a nice addition.
Pretty sleepy town that basically shuts down at 7:00 PM in September so that was a surprise. No real place to hang out other than in the room which was tiny.
Overall pretty clean except for the shower / mold that needed attention. I pointed it out to the staff and that were shocked but planned to address once we left."

"Værelserne ligner noget fra started af 1980. der lugtede ulækkert på værelset og aircondition larmede ekstremt meget. Pool område var super. Morgenmaden var mangelfuld fordi de var dårlige til at fylde op. Derfor ingen kaffe. Indtjekning skal man selv gøre på en computer så ingen service der."
"The hotel was well maintained, room clean, staff friendly and very convenient for exploring town. Room was a bit small - so it was good for a couple nights, but a bit cramped if you were staying much longer."
"We (a family of 4, with kids) had an amazing stay at the Avon in Silverton.
It’s still being reworked and gently restored, but is fully functional.
The landscape around Silverton is stunning, and the hotel itself has a unique authenticity which you won’t find in any of the established hotel chains.
All in all an Ubercool and very unique experience."
