"I liked that the inn had an outdoor sitting area with a fire pit. Unfortunately, the area was in a fire restriction, so we couldn't actually light a fire in the pit, but it was a comfortable place to sit and meet other guests. There was also a grill available for use and there were a number of picnic tables and other seating options. The rooms were clean with sufficient amenities. "We (a family of 4, with kids) had an amazing stay at the Avon in Silverton. It’s still being reworked and gently restored, but is fully functional. The landscape around Silverton is stunning, and the hotel itself has a unique authenticity which you won’t find in any of the established hotel chains. All in all an Ubercool and very unique experience."
