"Very nice accommodations and pleasant staff. The only thing that we had a problem with was that the room that we stayed in (the Tulip room) the door would not lock. We felt safe enough, and we didn't have any valuables so it was fine for our situation, but for others, I'm sure having a door that locked would make them feel more safe and secure. "

"The person on duty was accommodating. The pool or the hot tub wasn’t available so she upgraded me to a king suite with jacuzzi in the room. That made the stay enjoyable and relaxing."

"I Think Galt is an OK Old-timers hotel. Nothing special and here is the issue - they believe they are special - but at Best impossible Big with to many facilities or at worst out sourced francises with no quality control. I bought myself breakfast at Walkers Exchange - great coffee, rest delivered back at a full 26 dollar charge - leaving a huge hotel in an empty stomach of course doesn’t improve your already so-so experience - so ok hotel - ok surrounding, but not worth the price and zero...

"My daufhter and i had a mother/ daughter weekend for Mothers Day treat to ourselves. First time doing this. The Hotel was truly wonderful. Very clean. The staff was very friendly., the breakfast was amazing. The beds so comfortable. Unfortunately the pool wss closed the whole weekend due to chemical imbalance. "

Had normal hotel beds & fluffy pillows. It was a cute room. Our room had ants. I bought myself breakfast at Walkers Exchange - great coffee, rest delivered back at a full 26 dollar charge - leaving a huge hotel in an empty stomach of course doesn’t improve your already so-so experience - so ok hotel - ok surrounding, but not worth the price and zero internal quality control in my mind. Will I be back - NO!"
