The owner provides a notebook with instructions regarding the use of the property that you will need to review and there are reminder notes in the house that are helpful. The outdoor area is wonderful and private and the outdoor kitchen area is nice."

"This lovely old home has the most modern interior that is a comfortable distance to Portsmouth without being in the city. Attention to detail was evident in the cleanliness as well as the fully stocked beverages that can be added to your bill. I was able to reach Doug immediately concerning check-in as I was having trouble getting my home internet and he was so helpful. Should we come back again we will definitely stay here as they even allowed our 58 pound dog Emma to be with us. Emma loved...

"The house was all we expected. Very comfortable and ready for us when we arrived. It’s a bit out of the way, at the end of a private road, but quiet and secluded. Our host was attentive without being intrusive. She clearly wanted to make sure our stay met our expectations and was pleasant. All in all, a delightful way to visit Vermont!"
"It was not clear to us from the listing that there would be others renting within the same building; that said, they were unobtrusive and parking was ample.Small detains: no dish towels, unclear how to turn off the A/C (noisy), and no extra toilet paper in the downstairs bathroom. Also couldn’t re-close the lock box, so we just left the key in it, but open.Loved the quiet & bird life in the field, viewed from the porch. Walpole and Westmoreland farms are very beautiful."
