"Arrived to zero welcome after a six hour journey from Phnom Penh, tepid bottled water to drink, aircon struggling, no fridge and a power outage within half hour of arrival was enough to convince us to walk back to the main road ( as transport options were also zero). After a lengthy time trying to secure a tuk tuk back to town, bear in mind no drivers are wiling to come out to this address, we eventually made it back to Battambang and booked into a city hotel. Much relief 😅 but had to forfeit...
"Incredible private retreat! We so enjoyed our time at this amazing property. It was the perfect spot for our family of 12, with beautiful, spacious private suites, gathering spaces, and a fantastic pool! It was a little bit off the beaten path, but transportation was easy to find and there was an abundance of local street food right in front of the house. The owner and the staff were also easy to communicate with and very pleasant people.
We feel so lucky to have found it, and hope to return...
