"I thought the place was great for its location. But, needs a bit of work, I know it is an old building, but I thought it definitely needed some TLC. Also, the person on duty upon checkout was grumpy. Not friendly at all. We didn't eat or drink at the bar/restaurant, so I can't review that. But, they seemed busy."
"There’s no front desk staff but the online check in was seamless and the room was spacious and clean. Very cute place overall. Right next door is a fun restaurant and bar so easy to grab a bite as well. Would stay again!"
"Anna was a pleasure with a smile on her face. She became a friend and suggested places to see. Not only did she work the front desk she also assisted setting up and tearing down the breakfast area. The fresh baked cookies at night were delicious."
"I called for a late check in and got a very pleasant and helpful woman who spoke regular American english! It was refreshing to actually get good customer service without having to try and decipher gibberish. It is a very nice roadside motel. Exactly what I needed, a clean comfortable room that I could park directly on front of,a nice shower with fixtures that were completely functional and worked as expected. It was refreshing to stay in what used to be nearly every motel in America."
"The Enfield Shaker Museum is a very unusual hotel but quite a good experience nonetheless. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable (possibly quite hot in summer as there didn't appear to be any a/c), but there are no staff on hand and none of the 'normal' hotel experiences and extras. They do self-serve tea and coffee in the morning and that's about it. After 5pm the place is yours (with the other guests). For a Dartmouth parent hunting accommodation on a busy weekend it is a very good value...
