"The hotel judge's court shown on the website while booking looks like the amazing property but when I actually saw the place I was not really convinced. It is really a very old building convered into hotel. Rooms are very old and not upto the mark. Wash rooms are not great either. The lawns of the hotel are not well maintained. Food is good. Its all organic. But over all it was not the good experince. Actually not the value for money."

"We had the most comfortable and wonderful stay at the hotel. We were there for His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday celebration. The location was perfect—close to the main temple—with an amazing view from our room. The room was bright and modern, making it easy to relax without feeling pressure to go out. The food at the hotel was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful in every way. The next time we visit Dharamshala, we are definitely staying here again!"

The food is extravagant variety of dishes served, and staff service is good. the hotel is good too only the problem came in the form of using toiletry facilities. The waterspout was agonizingly like a machine gun, painful indeed if you get the drift, hence 3 stars. "

Lake Dal is only a 3 minute walk down the road. A short walk in the opposite direction allows you to see the breathtaking views of the snow capped mountain range above.
