This holiday inn should not be open for business in such a demanding location. To begin with the staff just ain’t happy you’re there to say the least, when we arrived they let us know right off the bat before a good afternoon or greeting “you will not be able to control the temperature in your room, our AC is currently out” our travel dates were 07/11-07/14 when it is hot most days out of the weekend, given the drive, how hard it would be to find another booking yet alone get charged with half the price if we canceled, didn’t really give us a choice so we stayed. Saturday we woke up and as a lot of us, we love hotel breakfast, waffles, pancakes, well to our disappointment neither were being served, what you get are watered down eggs that make your stomach hurt an hour later, spoiled fruit, plastic like bacon and cereal, great way to start our day. After we went out all day and when we came back to our room as we opened the door a gust of just build up hot air hit our faces, we looked at each other and sucked it up, we said let’s do cold showers and we’ll be fine, the whole building did not have cold water, we had to shower with severe hot water no matter how long we waited with the shower on, cold water was no where in sight. Parking is the worst as well. I will never be booking a holiday in.
