"Our villa was a disaster. It rained all night and there was a leak in the roof and it flooded our front foyer where we had our shoes and few other belongings. So naturally our belonging and shoes were soaked. Next morning we requested to be moved but the hotel was at full capacity due to the mini hurricane that’s what we were told. "Great unit with ample space and good facilities. As everywhere in Fiji, the staff was super kind and helpful. Note that the resort is stretched out along the coast. So you have to factor in time for walking or using the complimentary shuttle microbus or golf cart transfers. Only issues: our unit was on the ground floor and had a lot cockroaches. "I had read many reviews of various hotels on Denarau island and ultimately chose Sheraton golf and beach resort and were so glad we did! I totally understand what previous reviewers have said about the staff, facilities, gardens, food - everything is superior! We last visited this resort in 1998 as a family of 5 and returned recently as a couple, a lot has changed it's simply the best!"
