"We were travelling a long way and couldn't make it before 10pm, but the staff were very friendly and flexible and waited for us when we called and explained our timeline. They even showed us directly to our room. The room had many amenities including a kitchenette and sitting room."

One of the lower prices for area Motels, but I like that I am not paying for hotel amenities like a pool or an elaborate lobby with a spiral staircase. Plain and simple. A clean room. Quiet nights. "I’m not a big fan of roadside motels because they’re usually pretty scuzzy. However, the Deep River Motel has been perfectly upgraded to modern standards. It’s clean, well maintained, and has all the mod cons. The bathroom as all new and clean as whistle. There’s a microwave, good sized fridge, really good A/C and a flat panel tv with lots to watch. The staff are super helpful. I’ve seen people complain about the highway noise but, frankly, we had no problem with that. It’s a roadside motel so...
