"We had been working in the area and started here for 3 nights.
I got to my room and there was a dehumidifier in the middle of the room and it smelled super musty and damp.
There was no refrigerator, no clock and a super small TV on top of the closet.
The hot tub was out of order and the pool was like ice. Breakfast didn't open till 630 so most workers like myself missed out. On the last morning I stayed for breakfast and it was old bagels convince store muffins, old boiled eggs and of course...
"No microwave in the room: I know that is an 'add-on' in most places, but it is something I get regularly in much less expensive places... Room layout was not great.
Room does NOT come with breakfast, although an in-building restaurant is available -- with a relatively late start (7:00 a.m.). 'Fitness center' also has a late start (8:00); What business people would use something that intrudes that much into their workday?
I have previously stayed at three other motels in this same area;...
"Our overnight stay in Mankato was ok...Location was fine, close to the interstate. The hallways smelled like smoke and the sheets on our bed had worn holes in them. Over all it was ok, but I would think about seperating the smoking and non-smoking rooms on different floors and replacing the sheets. The staff was courteous and helpful, and to tell the truth, they had the best breakfast that we had at all the other hotels (about 5 different hotels)."
