"Ruchira was the perfect host, and the rest of the staff is the kindest as well. Super helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. There were the most beautiful rice fields in the back with 2 kinds of monkeys, peacocks, parrots, even elephants at times.
The hotel arranges cheap private tours of the nearby attractions - just let them know what you want to visit and one of their skilled drivers will take you there.
Breakfast was delicious and very filling. Nice to try local food, and the hosts...

"We stayed for four nights as a family of five with three children (aged 8,11 and 14) and we liked the hotel and the area.
The staff is helpful and kind and it was easy to make the small adjustment to our breakfast for example.
The rooms are nice, clean and very affordable. The internet WIFI is good and the speed is OK. The bathrooms are big and clean with plenty of hot water.

"We came to this hotel on our honeymoon, and from the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted with nothing but kindness. The hotel is so stunning, I service is incredible, the nature is all encompassing and the food is amazing! Would highly highly recommend. Our butler Prasanna was amazing - a special shout out to him and for making our trip so memorable. We would definitely go back!"

"What a wonderful place. The staff is absolute angels, they are very hospitable and accommodating, they go above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoys their stay and feels like home. Nice and clean room (we stayed in the Deluxe room)
The food is REALLY good if you like the lokal cuisine, you have to try It!!
Only minus was a lack of other guests, due to the covid situation😕 More People would make the athmosphere here even better😊"

"This property is in the middle of nowhere so there it comes the magic. I can’t complain about slow and poor wifi or power issues since this isn’t a hotel but a home stay.
The family hosting is among the best people you could ever meet, very attentive with guests and providing an excellent service and serving a tasty land grown food.
We really enjoyed our time there, certainly a place to disconnect in the middle of the island "

"I chose to stay in this hotel for one reason - it was in the centre of town. Atleast according to the map in hotels.com. However, it is located outside of Sigiriya approx. 2 km away along a dodgy road, that is not pleasant to walk along after dark. Hard to catch a rickshaw from here. Not staying in town (as expected) really ruined my stay. On top of this, the hotel is overpriced. Service nice, but not excellent. Do not arrange daytours from here, as they charge almost double the price compared...
