"We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round ."

"Hotellet er rigtig fint og vores værelse var rigtig godt i forhold til det, vi skulle bruge. Det trænger til at blive opgraderet på badeværelset, hvor bruseforhænget godt kunne trænge til en udskiftning, men ellers var det rigtig lækkert og sengene var gode. Morgenmaden er typisk britisk, og udvalget var ganske udemærket. Hotellet har egen (gratis) parkeringsplads, hvilket var et stort plus. "

"We recently rented three homes in England - They were all very, very, good. Even with this tough competition, the Mac Shack stood out as an absolutely wonderful stay. From the friendly, helpful, host and hostess and their beautiful, very comfortable home, I cannot imagine a better rental. "Historic hotel with some modern attributes. The room (6) was spacious with a good king size bed, but was directly over the kitchens and, with the windows open during summer, there was a fair amount of noise. Since it was a weekend, there were weddings on so the catering staff were working late. The following morning after breakfast we did find the toilets downstairs had been left in a pretty filthy state by the wedding guests, so the cleaners had not yet started their work.
