"A beautiful historical hotel with Hot tub, pool and a great rooftop bar. It’s right across the street from the River, and most down town Restaurants and attractions are easily walkable including The Figge Art Museum, and the Adler Theater. I would love to stay here again. "

My kids loved it too. Myrna was working the morning we ate breakfast in the lobby and she was so kind and helpful. I don’t see us traveling to Iowa again, but if we do- I would only stay here!"

"the grounds were terrible and overgrown. the room had holes in the wall. there were broken light fixtures. the shower had lots of mold growing in it. the shower wall was rotted. there was a coffee pot but no coffee or tea. we were there 2 nights and they did not make the beds or clean the room after the 1st night. the pillows had no cases. I am handicapped but was forced to walk nearly the entire length of the property to get to my room.

"Was here for a stop on the way back home. Place was in excellent condition and the beds were comfy. Kitchen was stocked with pans, plates and silverware. Everything we needed. Good desk/workspace in the suite, thought I had no need for it. I would consider this a great hotel for a business trip also. Thanks!"
