"Loved the room, and the staff were amazing. I would have put quiet, but unfortunately with the road works right outside, I couldn't do that. However, that is out of the Motel's hands. Suffice to say, we would definitely stay here again if we came back to Timaru. "

Walked to the lighthouse then to the penguins. Returned late at night and had an awesome sleep in a very comfortable warm bed. The room is not fancy but perfect for the price and you just need somewhere to sleep. "

"We thought their upgrades to the room had been carried out with taste. All staff in all areas where great and friendly. The bar manager was very professional and we thought went out of her way to help. Other items that might help improve. Handle in shower cubicle, would help a person with mobility problems. Repair wheel chair ramp. "

"Our room was nice and tidy and modern. Kitchen area had everything you needed, a nice kitchen. It had hot drinks, cereal and toast provided. I'm Gluten Free (Coeliac) so didn't have any breakfast but my Husband did.

"Very clean, comfy bed, lovely warm unit, 7min walk to the hospital. Perfect wee kitchenette that had everything i needed to prepare my meals. My only gripe would be the lack of secure window ventilation latches. I love to air out my room securely whilst im out. Easy fix tho. I will definitely be back "
