"The hotel is basic and clean. The city however, is not attractive and very dirty with rubbish in most places. Unless you must go to KK, I would recommend going directly to your destination, fx flying/driving to Sandakan/Sepilok. If you stay in KK, try the food market at the seaside, but expect is to be very dirty (but also interesting)."

"Selve receptionen og den service de gav var tilfredsstillende. Adgangen til lejligheden foregik først via elevator der nok aldrik havde været gjort ren og bagefter var gangen hen til lejligheden oversvømmet med vand så man fik våde fødder og var i konstant fare for at falde på det glatte gulv. Lejligheden har nok været pæn engang men nu fremstod den meget lidt ren og vi priste os lykkelige for at vi kun skulle opholde os der natten over."

"Get a room on 8th or 9th floor, which are nice and fairly new - below the 8th you do feel like been in a prison due to crazy architecture with bars in front of windows! Standard room not nice! Breakfast is not for European and very low standard. The mall below is fine and the hotel is fairly central!"
