"I love how the property sits atop a hill, on the corner.
After settling in my room, I noticed the TV would not power on. I contacted the front desk and the woman came to my room with 3 remotes. Eventually she required an alternate. She went above and beyond to ensure I had a working TV. I appreciated that effort. Id recommend this location. "

"The Golden Hill Inn is on a little hill, so the entrance and exit driveways are steep. Which is actually pretty cool! It overlooks a part of town, and there is a convenient store literally right across the street, which is great... but also it has a feeling like the Inn is a separate place, elevated and off by itself. The room was standard, modern, and clean. The staff was kind and helpful."

"This delightful inn makes for a totally special stay! The lovely building and grounds are matched by the nicely decorated, well equipped rooms with high quality bedding and toiletries. Breakfast on the front porch is a memorable pleasure. Staff are top notch. Location is excellent for walking to Main Street restaurants and free concerts in the park. "

"Check in staff was great. Their little snack store had everything from potato chips to frozen dinners which was much appreciated. The room was modern and clean and well appointed. But the thing that really said apart, oddly enough was the breakfast. Top quality, food, drinks, coffee. I just had a toasted bagel with cream cheese, but it was real Philadelphia cream cheese and there was lots of it and the bagel was very good. All the other food looked good as well. I actually looked for a Holiday...

"Motel/Hotel direkte til Route 22. Værelser i bygninger længst fra vejen super. Enkelt men good value for money. Morgenmad ikke tilfredstillende. Området smukt anlagt med gode faciliteter. Grill, bordtennis og pool i sommertid. Nabo særdeles god restaurant i smukke omgivelser."

It has a restaurant and that's great, but nothing else. That said, it's a great price/value for the area and I would likely stay again should the need arise."

"Very nice hotel in Fairfield.
We loved the room with pool view.
Pool area wonderful.
Breakfast was the only thing which could be improved. Very limited choises and weird tabels which was too high to sit around.
We will come back next time we are in the area. "
