***before posting this, I sent a message to the property owner, she never responded. It has been almost a week.*** My family and I (5 adults including my mother, 4 children, two who are under the age of 2) were looking forward to staying at this property. It’s very cute in the photos and looked to be perfect for our stay. When we arrived, the cleaner had supposedly just left, but there was mouse poop in the main bathroom, bedroom with trundle bed, and the bedroom with the queen bed. The bathrooms were also dirty, and the bath mats had something brown on them. I had to wash the bath mats myself. The stains or whatever was on them was gone, but we were grossed out. The floor underneath the bath mat in the main bathroom by the shower is rotting, and I did not want my family in there until the bath mats were clean. The rug in the dining area is VERY stained, but that’s not a big deal. We had zero hot water. It was like warm by the time we left. We heard mice at night. There’s also damage to the property, as there is a piece of roof trimming hanging off and resting on the electrical wire. The area is older, we didn’t feel unsafe. There were very loud cars driving by all hours of the night with their music blaring. Overall, our stay wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great. Again, I sent a message to the owner to try to settle things before posting a review, but she never responded.
