"A lovely lodge located on a gentle hill overlooking the plains. Staff are phenomenal, warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We went on a morning game drive and a sundowner, both were excellently arranged. "The property was clean, crisp and secure. The pool was so refreshing after a long day. The breakfast was very good and prepared specifically to our liking and serving time. The room was clean and the AC made sleeping at night very comfortable. The staff was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. They secured tours for us, provided local directions, and helped with our take-away food delivery orders. We stayed 3 nights but would've been happy to stay 3 weeks."

"Very good location with beautiful river view! All the staffs are friendly with smiles. Although there were always big groups of tourists but we’ve been treated well at breakfast and dinner though we were just 2 of us.

"As the name suggests, this was a rustic stay. I oftern like staying at unique place and this was that. Its right on the Chobe River and the tours leave from there which is convenient. Restaurant was good. Food delicious but took forever to come to the table. We were told to be careful as wild animals would roam arounf at tnoght and they had a gate to separate the rooms from the river. We did see a wart hog/pumba. The rooms were small but clean. Staff was helpful"
