"I stayed one night right before going into KNP. From start to finish Bernadette made me feel welcome a d was extremely friendly. I did receive a room upgrade and wow! The room was fantastic. Extremely high ceiling and fantastic backyard view. Though once twilight hits there isn't much sunlight so not much view can be seen. There is a restaurant nearby so you do not have to use the kitchens if you don't cook yourself. Also, ifyou would love to make the host happy please ask her about the lounge...

"The property was absolutely amazingly. Very clean and well kept, the landscaping and grounds were perfectly manicured. The restaurant served great food and drinks and the staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms were also perfect for what we needed. There was nothing we didn't like about the property or our experience. We only wish we were able to spent more time there."

"Great location on the river and only about 12 minutes from the Crocodile Bridge Gate at Kruger. It's not a luxurious property but we had the proper expectations. We enjoyed the amenities that we needed and the location on the river was tranquil and beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly."

"Marina and Dirk were fantastic hosts, very knowledgeable about wildlife and the surroundings and fun to talk to. They welcomed us warm and happily walked the extra mile if need be. To do a braai/bbq evening for us was an experience in itself which we enjoyed to the fullest. It was amazing to have animals come right to your doorstep and there were all sorts of them.
The lodge itself is very clean, nicely equipped, comfortable and in a nutshell a home away from home. It is a perfect starting...
