"We stayed one night while passing through the area but I wish it were longer. This place has gorgeous views from every window. Quiet and secluded but easy to find with fantastic instructions from the hosts. The space is so clean and comfortable with everything you need. It was the perfect layout for us to make own meals and our toddler to have his own futon bed to sleep. Can't recommend this place enough."

"The location of the Mayor’s Hideaway is so nice! It’s just a short walk to the grocery store and all the restaurants and bars in downtown Montrose. The house and the neighborhood are both very quiet and charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and Allie was quick to respond when we had a question."

"We loved staying here, it was serene and quiet which was just what we were looking for. We went to the tasting room one of the days which was really fun and we were able to bring our small dog with us for the tasting. We spent the evenings making dinner, playing board games on the back porch of the farmhouse, and watching the sunset while our chihuahua got to live his dreams of farm life for a couple days. Just a heads up there is no tv but plenty of games and interesting books and the wifi...

"This was a trip to bring my Dad to see his brother. Probably for the last time. My Dad, sister and I stayed in the home. It was a perfect home for us. The two bedrooms downstairs handled my Dad and sister. I stayed in the Master upstairs. It was perfect. Very clean, plenty of cups, plates and utensils. Nice washer and dryer. Would certainly stay here again!"

"It was very nice to have lots of space, a large living room to sit and visit. There was enough room for parkng It was nice to not have TV on (we couldnt figure out how to use them cuz we are old closer to 80 than 70!) For me, it was nice to have the quiet unlike at home. The connection the owner had to someone very special to me was especially nice."
