Designed entirely on one level, South Barn is bright, airy, and thoughtfully laid out for relaxed group living. The heart of the home is the generous open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, where large windows frame open farmland views and natural light floods the space.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped for easy self-catering and includes:

• Induction hob and oven

• Ample worktop space

• Large dining table for shared meals

• Separate utility room with fridge freezer

This flexible, uncluttered layout makes South Barn equally suited to laid-back holidays, remote working breaks, or longer countryside stays. Please note: there is no TV, encouraging guests to truly switch off and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay at South Barn on the Isle of Wight. The barn conversion is stunning, with striking architecture, high ceilings, and exposed beams that create both character and comfort. The location is peaceful with beautiful countryside views, yet close to the coast and ideal for exploring the island. Everything was spotless, well equipped, and thoughtfully designed. Simply Fantastic

My partner and I spent an unforgettable long New Year’s weekend at South Barn. The home is a striking contemporary retrofit of a former agricultural barn with a beautiful modern garden and sweeping views of the River Medina valley. It is spacious yet intimate, minimalist yet cosy. Underfloor heating and warm natural tones and materials throughout ensure a sense of comfort, while the high angled ceiling and large expanses of glass make the space feel like an extension of the landscape beyond. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, with plenty of counter space and all new appliances, and the open plan naturally lends itself to socialising and entertaining. Bedrooms are uncluttered with comfortable beds. Bathrooms are generously proportioned and have a clean aesthetic of functional luxury. Within easy reach of the RedJet ferry terminal in (West) Cowes, South Barn is also walking distance from a large supermarket. Highly recommended - we would definitely stay again!
