"I liked most things. The bed was one of the most comfortable on which I have slept. The bath was really nice, long and comfortable. The hot water was hot whenever I wanted it. I ate at the restaurant three evenings. The food was reasonably good but I feel that apart from the jam sponge and custard, the puddings were trying too hard and were too complex to sound attractive. I think that simpler puddings would be far better. I liked two of my main courses, the sausages and mash, and the Cowboy...

The room I got was a double room with a double bed + one extra bed, which was quite big. This meant that there was almost no extra floor space.
Very disappointing.
The door lock was almost out of battery, which meant that I had to go down to the reception numerous times to have it fixed. They did not fix it first time... just very irritating. When the manager finally pulled himself together and showed up, it was in a very demonstrative manner as if "Do you see I am fixing it for you now?", as if he was doing me some special favour.
I give it two stars.
One for the very kind and always helpful cleaning staff and another for the breakfast.
