Welcome to 229, "PIRATES COVE," our nautically appointed vacation getaway. Unit 229 is a preferred Gulf view unit. Every room has been professionally decorated to a nautical theme with all new furnishings and décor.
A newly remodeled, fully equipped kitchen opens to the living room, where a dining table awaits with seating for 6. The sleeper sectional is equipped with a queen-size gel mattress for overflow guests. Enjoy the beautiful Gulf views from the large sliding glass doors and hear the waves rolling onto the spectacular beach Port Aransas has to offer!
For your entertainment, the unit has all Smart TVs. Boasting a 64" in the living room and 42" in the bedrooms. Enjoy Spectrum TV or Spectrum Wi-Fi for your favorite streaming service. There is a desk in the master in case you need to catch up on a little work with Wi-Fi provided by Spectrum. Family games are in the dining room cabinet.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a large sliding glass door to enjoy the view. Appointed with both sheers and blackout window treatments. Enjoy your own private en suite and walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has a view of the courtyard and swimming pool. It has a queen-size bed, blinds with blackout window coverings, and a private en suite.
The laundry room is a great place to store coolers, beach toys, and towels. New washer and dryer for our guests' use.
The huge private deck provides unobstructed gulf views, maybe you will even see a pirate ship! Southern exposure for sun lovers and polywood furniture with seating for 6. The deck is partially covered to keep you dry during an occasional afternoon shower.
The 229 is ideally located. It's the second door from the beach front elevator with great access to the beach Boardwalk, main swimming pool/hot tub, and grilling picnic area.

We loved the patio and my kids loved the lobster room. Our issues were very much not with the owner of the rental. The place was lovely and had a ton of amenities. The issue was with the cleanliness of the areas surrounding the condo. No where to sit at the pool without bird stuff on it and it would have been super simple to take a hose and rince off chairs, which we tried to do but the hose we could find would not reach. I don’t think they have ever been cleaned because the table was

Perfect

Super cute condo! So clean. The owners left gifts for both kids and adults which was a fun treat. The view off of the deck was great and the private boardwalk to the beach was perfect for going back and forth with small kids.

The location and size were perfect. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets and no sheets for the pullout sofa sleeper. Also, there were no cleaning supplies other than a broom and detergents. Once we got some disinfectant wipes from the store and washed some extra blankets for the pullout, our stay was great! Easy walk to the beach.

The unit is spotless, decorations galore, view is awesome, kitchen and bathroom supplies are more than enough, extra-large TV, ceilings fans are remote controlled, comfortable sofa, thank you gifts from the owner is well appreciated, and glad keys are used instead of codes to open the doorSurely, looking forward to reserve the same room next time.Just so, its my 4th time to stay in La Mirage. Never been disappointed except for some mosquitoes. Ouch

Great location, very quiet. Nice pool & Hot Tub, Great Balcony!

The property is in a great location at the beach and the unit had a spacious balcony. The balcony furniture was very nice and comfortable. The unit owner provided all of the basic needs and even included coffee.The onsite staff were very nice. Some feedback. The sofa in the living room is wearing out and is very uncomfortable as the cushioning on the attached ottoman is worn and uncomfortable due to heavy use.The bed in the master bedroom needs replacing as it is worn out and you roll to middle of the bed from either side... this is very uncomfortable!I researched the previous reviews and this bed issue was brought to the unit owners attention in a review on 10/25/24.

We enjoyed our stay! It was a clean, well managed unit. The walk to the beach was exactly as described. The beach is narrow and allows vehicles which I want to note for awareness for other families with small children. But a beautiful beach!

This condo is exactly as described on the website. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, great beds and great balcony to enjoy morning coffee. The walk to the beach is less than 2 minutes and easily accessible. We would definitely stay there again.

First trip to Port A

Our stay at LaMirage was very enjoyable, despite missing the first 3 days due to Hurricane Beryl. The unit was very clean, well stocked with the basic ammenities. There was plenty of space for us and it was a very quiet condo. We enjoyed the pool and the beach. We look forward to our next return.

Great gulf vacation

Property was EXACTLY as described. Remodeling is ongoing but caused no issues whatsoever. The unit itself was great! It accommodated all of us wonderfully and was undoubtedly a home away from home.

Great beach getaway

Loved, loved the decor! Had everything we needed for cooking and even beach toys. On-site front office personnel were friendly and helpful. Location is good, as is right on the beach via a small boardwalk. Have to drive to grocery store, shops and restaurants but there are plenty of all to chose from and it was perfect for us, exactly what we were looking for in a vacation. Will be returning in the future

Beachy Condo By The Gulf

The unit overall was clean and decorated very nicely especially if you're looking for a beach themed unit. One of the shower curtains was a little mildewy but one call to the office and it was taken care of right away. View of the water, proximity to the elevator which took us straight down to the boardwalk to the beach & pool area was great. On the last night we had an issue with a large, cockroach looking bug on the kitchen counter. We were assured it was a water bug but thoroughly checked all food items & bags to be sure. Overall, a nice long weekend stay!

Relaxing weekend

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was well furnished and had all the kitchen pots and pans you could need or want. The balcony was a great place to hang out in the morning with our coffee and tea.

Had a great time staying at this beachside condo! The owners provided a thoughtful gift upon check in for us and our children. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!

Great Stay at the Beach

Great location for our family get away. Weather was great and the kids loved the pool. Morning and evening walks on the breach were fantastic and the condo was a great location and short distance to the national seashore to the south as wells as the fishing pier and resturants to the north. The condo unit was nice and clean, well put together and decorated beautifully. The kids had gift baskets waiting for them at check in, which they loved, and all the staff was very friendly. There was still some construction going on but it did not disrupt our stay. We would highly recommend
