  • We are happy to welcome guests to our newly updated condo. The kitchen has been opened up with a great view of the Gulf of Mexico from our top-floor unit and is equipped with all stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Enjoy the coffee bar that boasts a Keurig single-serve coffee maker, coffee mugs, and extra wine glasses. A standard coffee maker is also available. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils you could hope for. There are also two blenders and a crockpot available for use.

    The dining room table seats six, and there are two barstools at the kitchen counter.

    The living room has a large couch with a comfortable foam queen sleeper, as well as two recliners. There are paperback books, puzzles, games, and decks of cards in the unit for your enjoyment.

    Master bedroom suite with a king bed, two nightstands, a dresser, and a walk-in closet. There is direct access to the spacious balcony from the master suite. The newly renovated master bath boasts a granite countertop and a large walk-in shower.

    Both the bedroom TV and the living room TV have Spectrum cable as well as a Roku setup. There are USB chargers available on all nightstands.

    The patio has a table with 4 chairs, two reclining lounge chairs, as well as two taller chairs with a tall table for ocean viewing. The oversized patio provides magnificent sunset views over the Corpus Christi Bay, as well as gulf views.

A Return Visit to La Mirage

This has become our new yearly tradition. We head down to Port A for a week the day after Labor Day. This visit was good but a couple of things caused a few snags... The condition of our apartment wasn't prefect (no coffee, WIFI was not operating, damage on the lower edges of the entry walls, damage on the curtain rod in the bed room, horrible mattress [leaving us with sore backs and legs each morning], no one at office after 5 PM [check in is at 4 PM], 24 hour assistance was a voice mail, elevator closest to our room was broken and was never repaired). Unfortunately we can't get away from our store completely, so we needed WIFI immediately. Maintenance guy was very pleasant, gave us alternative WIFI until router was replaced the following day and brought coffee. We like the resort but the attention to detail was sadly lacking. The pool area wasn't cleaned daily and never monitored. Unfortunately, guests don't pay attention to signage and there were unaccompanied children well under 14 in the hot tub & pool as well as an adult male with a glass bottles by the pool. We are already planning our return next year, but hope in the meantime, they tighten up their service and amenities.
