Escape to ultimate relaxation at our stunning Lake Blackshear Retreat, the perfect getaway for families and friends. This spacious home boasts two luxurious king bedrooms, a cozy queen room, and two sets of bunk beds, comfortably accommodating everyone. The master suite is a true oasis, featuring a large shower and a private Jacuzzi tub for unwinding after a day on the lake. The well-stocked kitchen is ideal for preparing meals, and the expansive living spaces ensure you’ll have plenty of room to relax and reconnect. Outside, you’ll find a sparkling pool, a soothing hot tub, (limited to 3 hours per day and only available during the cold months due to the water flowing into the pool) and a fire pit—perfect for evening gatherings under the stars. The boat dock offers direct access to the lake, making water adventures just steps away.

Conveniently located just a mile from Veterans State Park, you’ll have access to disc golf, a premier golf course, and walking trails. Dining and shopping options are close by, with a Mexican restaurant only 1.5 miles away and the famous Stripling’s convenience store just around the corner. Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the sunset from the dock, or exploring the local attractions, our home is designed to create lasting memories for you and your loved ones.


General Rules:

1. NO SMOKING INSIDE OF HOUSE. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.

2. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS! This can lead to a cancelation of your booking with no refund.

3. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM to respect neighbors.

4. NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS OR VISITORS ALLOWED!! Any visitor entering the home without prior permission from the host will result in an additional charges.



Safety and Property Care:

5. Supervise children around the pool, hot tub, and dock at all times.

6. Use the pool and hot tub responsibly; no glassware is allowed in these areas.

7. Do not tamper with or remove any safety equipment (e.g., life jackets, smoke detectors).

8. Report any damage or issues immediately to the host.



Cleanliness:

9. Please clean up after yourself and leave the kitchen as you found it.

10. Dispose of trash in the provided bins.

11. Do not leave wet items on furniture; use provided towels or drying racks.



Check-In/Out:

12. Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Late check-outs may result in additional charges.


Hot Tub/Pool Rules:

15. The pool is used at your own risk. We are not liable for any injuries or accidents that may accur while using the pool or hot tub. No diving or running near the pool. Notice- hot tub is shut down June through August!

16. Do not adjust the hot tub temperature settings. Hot tub usage is limited to 3 hours per day. Any additional hot tub usage will result in extra charges.

Outdoor Areas:

18. Respect the fire pit—never leave it unattended while lit.
