Glacier Peak - A cozy cabin minutes away from Glacier National Park

This 520 sq ft cabin is located just minutes outside of Glacier National Park - West Glacier Montana! You'll find a 1 bedroom with a queen bed with luxury linens, down comforter and pillows. An open living room with two convertible ottomans that can convert into extra living room seating or each fold out into a single twin size futon bed making the property able to sleep a total of four. A fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs! The covered front porch is a great place to spend your morning relaxing and unplugged with a cup of coffee or a great place to kick back after an amazing day of exploring our great state. A full size washer and dryer can be found in the bathroom.

Our cabin is located minutes from the West entrance of Glacier National Park. We are close to many different outdoor activities depending on what you're wanting to do while on vacation. Hiking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, rafting, snowmobiling and more we are just a short drive from just about any place you'd like to adventure to.

- A few short minutes from Glacier National Park - West Glacier
-26 minutes from Glacier National Park International Airport
-29 minutes to Whitefish where you will find tons of great restaurants, bars, shopping, golfing
-30 minutes to Whitefish Mountain Resort where you will find some great snow for the perfect day of skiing, make sure to check out the Resort in the summer as they offer tons of family activities and hiking
-18 minutes to Columbia Falls where you will find great choices for restaurants, grocery stores and shopping
-1hr 7 minutes to the East side of Glacier National Park
-30 minutes to Kalispell

The best thing about this property is proximity to Glacier Park. After that, it is a bit of a bummer. It is advertised as "1 bedroom" and that is a little misleading. There is a room with a bed in it. The bed is basically up against 2 of the walls (maybe you can slide down the foot of it if you sidle sideways). You have to keep all of your things in the living room. Good space in the bathroom. Lots of hooks are a help. Good laundry (tho washing machine instructions would be helpful). Kitchen is well appointed for its size. Listing says "coffee maker". I sure would have loved to know that it is a kuerig since that changes things. (Couldn't you leave maybe 1 k-cup to get the guest started until they buy their own?) A/C broke down the 1st night. MOST of the windows (especially the big ones) DONT open. So with 80 degree days, we had few options to cool off the space. Ended up having to put a box fan on the kitchen counter pointed towards the 'bedroom' to help with airflow (as only open window in 'bedroom' is about 12 inches square). Would have been nice to have an extension cord as the fan cord is only 6 feet long. Outlets are hard to come by in all areas. The towels were great! Oh, and then there is the train. Not only does it regularly block all access to the neighborhood, but it runs ALL night with horn blaring! Maybe provide earplugs? And there are no toiletries. Some nice guests had left some shampoo and body wash which was nice.

Very clean and cozy place for 2 was just perfect for my husband and myself. Very close to the Going to the Sun Road - West gate of the glacial national park. Highly recommend.

The location of this property was perfect for us. It was only a few minutes from the West entrance of Glacier and a short drive to other attractions and places to eat. As some noted, the bedroom was small but was just like the pictures portrayed it. The washer and dryer were a welcome plus. We spent most of our time in the park, but totally enjoyed our time at the property. If we return to Glacier we would definitely stay there again.

The cabin has plenty of room for two people. It was clean and had plenty of supplies needed to make coffee and cook meals. The wifi access was good. Washer and dryer were useful. The location is ideal for travel into the west entrance of Glacier National Park. There is a grocery store within about 5 miles and several restaurants.

The listing was not accurate. Location was poor and the property was overgrown with weeds. The listing also failed to mention active train tracks within a hundred yards. Inside was very clean but the bed was not accessible on the side and bottom because the bedroom was so small. The host was gracious when I requested a refund.

Cabin was small and a little awkwardly laid out, but worked for my husband and I. We were able to lay out our luggage in the living space and use the washer/dryer for our toiletries. The location was EXCELLENT to GNP and parking at the house was perfect. The washer and dryer was great to be able to use. The hosts were very kind and accommodating and communicated all information in advance. Door code made access to the unit easy. A/C was only a window unit in living room but used the two box fans to cool the place off (my husband is always warm) and we made it work ok.

Great!

We stayed 2 nights after traveling for 5 days. Having a washer and dryer to use was the reason we chose it and we left with all our clothes clean! It was very close to the park as well as restaurants and shops. Everything you would need to prepare meals was provided. We used the air conditioner, it was very hot our first night. The location was private and quiet. It’s not fancy, but clean and comfortable. I would stay again and would recommend it.

Perfect little place near Glacier Nat'l Park!

Thrilled to have found this gem and had the pleasure of staying here! Booking was easy, check-in was easy, staying was wonderfully close to the park and also to Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Whitefish, and to a drive around Flathead Lake. Cabin was clean and comfortable with a little A/C unit and fans, and all the comforts of home (except a hair dryer, ha ha, I did have to buy one of those, but that's on ME, and I actually needed it the next place on our journey as well). We would stay here again in an instant!

Clean and close to Glacier! This property is just a few minutes from Glacier and very clean. It is a simple cabin with just the basics and worked well as a base camp for our day trips to the park. It has a basic kitchen with a Keurig for coffee. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The owners were very helpful when I accidentally left something behind after checking out! The only downside was that there are no closets or dressers which made it tough to organize our things for our 7 day stay. There isn’t much counter space in the bathroom either. We purchased a few cheap bins and it remedied that issue. The other thing to be aware of is that the air conditioning is a window unit. It had a hard time keeping up on 90 degree days. Overall, if you are looking for a clean, affordable place to stay that is close to the park, this is a good option.

Great stay near Glacier NP

Clean, quiet, with a fully stocked kitchen. I had a great stay. Comfy bed. Full sized fridge w freezer. The train is close but not too much. The neighborhood is an interesting melange. Hosts were great and easy to deal with. Great place to stay!

Clean house

We enjoyed staying at this little house in a quiet neighborhood. It was very clean. The bed was up against the wall so it was a little hard to get in and out but the bed was comfortable. The location was so close to the west entrance of Glacier NP.

This was a wonderful little place to stay. Had everything you need. Even a BBQ that we used most nights. Host is very helpful and had bottled water, coffee, and a few other supplies. Do bring a hairdryer and conditioner if you need that (which I did so no problem). Loved the location and how easy it was to relax and cook after all day hiking.

Great Experience

First things first: the setting of this little cabin is not its main attraction. That's the only reason it doesn't get five stars from me. But if you want a spotless rental with a responsive host at a reasonable price, a good bed, fluffy towels, great water pressure, a washer and dryer, QUIET, and a location that's extremely convenient to Glacier National Park, don't hesitate. It is not fancy, but it is comfortable and offered everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

Not a bad spot

This cabin was comfortable except the bedroom is tiny. The refrigerator is very noisy. There is also a train track nearby which can be disruptive to sleep. For some reason, I thought it was within walking distance to town but it isn’t. My fault. It’s clean and the kitchen is well provisioned.

Good stay

Good spot for convenient access to west glacier entrance. Quiet area. Clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only awkward part was the way the queen bed is squeezed into a small room. With two people in the bed, it will be tricky for one of you to get out if you need to get up in the middle of the night.
