"Our house was very nice and was well equipped. Since it’s several miles to the nearest town there was even food in case we didn’t bring any. Nice view of the lake. It appears this resort is undergoing a lot of updates and will be very nice when completed. "

"It was perfect. The large suite on the main floor was big enough for my daughter, son-in-law and their three young children to sleep. We loved the kitchen too. There was only one negative that we all agreed on. The "sofa" in the front room is very uncomfortable. It was a very happy return to the Keweenaw for all of us."

"Perfect location, excellent chalet, everything we needed to enjoy our evenings after romping about in the peninsula! The wood stove kept us warmed up on a cooler night; the kitchen was amply stocked and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed walking the trail to Agate Beach, and truly appreciated the proximity to our favorite places to hike. We will stay longer next time. Host Heather was so cool to share her organic farm invite; will have to stop there next time! "

"I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. It was very clean, comfortable beds with soft bedding and one of the best stocked VRBOs we have stayed in. From an over abundance of bathroom towels to a fully stocked kitchen, if you forgot anything, Carla will probably have it there for you. We brought our own paper products, spices, etc, but it’s all there. The ORV trails are very close and easy to access. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. We will definitely return."

"This was a truly beautiful location, and directly on Lake Superior. Very nice outdoor seating with a view to sunrises, and to just listen to the waves. The water was quite pleasant and very shallow for quite a ways out due to rock formations. While a bit out of the way from everything (and cell phone service is pretty sketchy in this part of the UP), the house had Wifi which corrected for the poor cell phone service, and it was 20-30 minute drive to many beautiful sites and hikes. Our parents have both passed within the past few years, and we just thought that we would all like to get back to a place that meant so much to them. Beautiful weather, just a great weekend. Only downside was conditions were not right to see the Northern Lights."

"Well stocked with everything you needed and more. Great communication! I was with my two grown sons both over 6 feet..the beds in the basement were to small. But we made it all work with a futon that was there. Other then that everything was great ...would definitely rent again "

"The location was wonderful. Right on the shores of Lake Fanny Hooe. Within walking distance to nearby restaurants. I had made an error with the days we would be staying, and it was easy to go online and also call to be sure my days of stay could be changed. They were very helpful and accommodating. However, we were a little disappointed with our room. It was pretty run down and outdated. The beds were very uncomfortable.
