Perfect location for a Copenhagen trip
A nice appartment in Copenhagen, optimal for a sightseeing trip. Its silent, but in the 5th floor - a lot of staircases :-). Connection to public traffic is nearly optimal. So enjoy !

Good way to be close to attractions with still getting a local feel
The location was close to so many things like restaurants and tourist sites, yet the location was quiet and you felt like part of the neighborhood. Ulrik was very responsive anytime we had a question. We were really pleased with our stay and would visit again.

Nette Wohnung in hervorragender Lage
Wir waren 10 Tage in Kopenhagen und waren mit der Wohnung, die ideal für ein Paar ist, sehr zufrieden. Durch die zentrale Lage in der Nähe der Freistadt Christiania konnten wir bis auf einen Ausflug nach Louisiana praktisch alles zu Fuß erkunden. Wir waren mit dem Auto angereist, was entgegen einiger Empfehlungen ebenfalls kein Problem war: zwar sind die Parkplätze direkt in der Stadt rar und teuer, aber schon in den Seitenstrassen von Christiania gibt es die Möglichkeit, das Auto dauerhaft kostenlos abzustellen. Bedenken sollte man aber, dass sich das Appartement im 5-ten Stock im Dachgeschoss ohne Aufzug befindet. Wer schlecht zu Fuß ist, wird möglicherweise keinen Spaß haben.....

Hygge
It was our second time at Ulrik's. He is a wonderful host and, once again, we felt at home, like we were visiting an old friend's home. Ulrik's place is very comfortable and cozy. It is also centric. The metro station is just a few minutes away. If you like walking, you do not really need public transportation and you will be able to enjoy the beautiful city. My wife and I will be coming back.

Charming apartment
This is a charming apartment with a lot of art on the walls. The kitchen is fully equipped for nearly all needs (the only thing that we missed was a tea pot) and the living room is quite large. Since it is directly under the roof, it might at times get a bit hot, but there is always a cool breeze from the sea, so it is no problem to get fresh, cool air into the flat. Beware: There are a lot of steps from the street up to the flat, so perhaps for elderly people this might be a challenge. Communication with landlord is easy and reliable. We enjoyed our visit immensly.

Hidden gem near Nyhavn
My partner and I had a lovely stay at Ulrik’s apartment! We enjoyed having access to the kitchen and washing machine. The apartment is just a 10 minute walk from Nyhavn and there is a nearby bus that takes you to many locations of interest around the city. We also enjoyed breakfast at the Parterre café on the corner. The 6 flights of stairs were no joke, but we were aware of what we were getting ourselves into! We would definitely rent this place again if we return to København.

Nice stay in Copenhagen
My husband and I enjoyed the property. The neighborhood was nice. And it was easy to get to and from. We found the food in Christiana to be some of our favorite. There are many stairs so pack accordingly. The bed was small so prepare to cuddle. Over all a really pleasant stay.

Gute Unterkunft für Städtereise Kopenhagen
Hat alles gut und wie beschrieben geklappt. Auch die per Mail kommunizierten Hinweise und Tipps des Vermieters waren sehr hilfreich. Die Lage ist für eine Städtetour Kopenhagen sehr gut geeignet, alles ist gut erreichbar. Wir empfehlen eine Anreise ohne Auto. Nur bei der Sauberkeit der Wohnung ist noch Luft nach oben.

Cute apt in quiet residential area near christiania
Cute apt for one or two near Christian’s. Short walk to canals, Nyhavn, Kongens Nytorv square. and subways. Easy bus ride to train station. Apt was warm and dry in cold winter weather small, but had everything we needed. TV, internet, kitchen, etc. 😊

Convenient location, disappointing otherwise
Location in Newtown Christiania is walking distance (20-25min) from main touristy spots and some nice coffee shops nearby. Flat itself was clean but shabby. Main problem was bathroom because shower water did not drain (due to the design of the bathroom) and caused severe flooding of the whole bathroom each time and unhygienic. Told host on first day that this was a problem and received no help other than telling us to use the shower curtain which we were already doing. Be aware this flat is the top floor of an apartment and there a A LOT of stairs to climb and no lifts.

Absolute great cozy apartment!
We loved Ulriks place. It was so close to all major tourist locations and was only 7 metro-stops away from CPH airport, took about 15 minutes. I stayed with my teenage daughter who really loved all the art on the walls. Handy small shops right on the corner. Will definitely return whenever we visit CPH again!

Amazing stay!
This was the first leg of our trip and we could not have been more pleased! We LOVED all of the art and uniqueness of the property. The location was top notch- quick walk to Nyhavn and the metro. Cant recommend this place enough :)

Cute Apartment
We had a great stay. Property was very clean and Ulrik’s instructions and expectations were very clear. It was also very easy to get to most of the tourist places from there. We stayed at the end of August, and it was quite warm. There were no fans or anything, so we had to sleep with the windows cracked open. This wouldn’t have been a problem except that most nights there was quite a bit of noise on the street below.

I found this property to be as advertised. It is cozy and clean. The location is excellent. It's in a great neighborhood and very close to public transportation. If you want to feel like a local while vacationing in Copenhagen, you can't go wrong here.

The perfect Copenhagen flat
Absolutely flawless. Ulrik was so responsive and helpful during check-in and check-out, and provided me with the best experience for my stay in Copenhagen. The flat is gorgeous (the pictures are accurate!) with plenty of natural light, beautiful art, and the best accommodations (dishwasher, washer machine, portable speaker, television, nespresso machine, the list goes on!). The location cannot be beat, minutes walk to Freetown, restaurants along the water, and the pedestrian bridge to Nyhavn. Shopping, dining, and museums all within a stone’s reach. This is where I hope to return again for my next stay in Copenhagen! Thank you so much.

Eager to come back
Great location with cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores at a walking distance, and also centrally located and near the best attractions in Copenhagen. It was easy to communicate with the property manager who replied to our messages within minutes. The property has a great distribution and is very well cared and maintained. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to come back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was in a wonderful central location where we could literally walk or bike anywhere. And, getting to the airport was a snap with the metro being nearby. Because we were there during April, we loved that the apartment had plenty of light as well. Highly recommend!

A very nice place
We were delighted to spend our time in this apartment. The location is wonderful and the apartment very sunny. Great location since it's not far from the center of Copenhagen (around 15 min from Nihavn ) and the location is quiet. We loved our trip to Copenhagen also thanks to this apartment.

Beautiful apartment, great location!
My husband and I stayed in Copenhagen for a week, and Ulrik's apartment was a quiet oasis to come back to each day. It's a short walk to the local grocery store, a great cafe, and the metro stop. Ulrik sent detailed instructions and recommendations, which were very helpful, and he was very communicative and accommodating. Great place for a couple visiting Copenhagen!

Notre réservation avait été reportée d'une année à cause des complications d'accès au Danemark avec le COVID-19. Ulrik a accepté ce report. L'appartement est idéalement situé pour organiser ses visites. Accès rapide, en vélo, à pied ou en métro au centre de Copenhagen. Il est lumineux, calme, bien aménagé et bien décoré. Les vélos peuvent être garés en sécurité. Les équipements sont suffisants, il y a 3 épiceries à 2 minutes et Copenhagen Street Food à 5 minutes. Attention, il n y a pas de location de vélos dans Christianshavn (à part des vélos cargo). Nous conseillons Rosenborg Cykler (Rosenborggade 3). Nous vous recommandons l'appartement d'Ulrik, un excellent choix pour un agréable séjour à Copenhagen. Our reservation had been postponed for a year due to complications of accessing Denmark with COVID-19. Ulrik accepted this postponement. The apartment is ideally located for organizing visits. Quick access, by bike, on foot or by metro to the center of Copenhagen. It is bright, quiet, well appointed and well decorated. Bicycles can be parked safely. The facilities are sufficient, there are 3 grocery stores 2 minutes away and Copenhagen Street Food 5 minutes away. Please note that there is no bicycle rental in Christianshavn (apart cargo bikes). We recommend Rosenborg Cykler (Rosenborggade 3). We recommend Ulrik's apartment, an excellent choice for a pleasant stay in Copenhagen.

Appartement mit hippem Charme
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist, was die Check-In-Angelegenheiten anbelangt, völlig komplikationslos. Zudem wird man mit umfangreichen und echt guten Tipps versorgt. Das Appartment haben wir sauber und ordentlich vorgefunden; die Bilder moderner Kunst versprühen einen hippen Charme ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. In der Küche befindet sich alles, was man zum Kochen braucht. Wer Essengehen bevorzugt, kommt in der unmittelbaren Umgebung schon auf seine Kosten. Parken stellte mit der App eazypark kein Problem dar. Auch ein Parkplatz vor dem Haus war leicht zu bekommen. Bis zum Kanal ist es eine nur eine Gehminute , und dann kann man wunderbar ins Zentrum schlendern (fußläufig ca. 20 min.): zum Nyhavn oder zu diversen Museen oder zum Shoppen in die City, …. Für einen Single- oder Pärchen-Aufenthalt in Kopenhagen eine optimale Unterkunft.

Amazing location and beautiful apartment
Ulrik was an amazing host. He was especially accommodating on our arrival as my wife was sick and he went out of his way to be hospitable. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the Metro, Nyhaven and right around the corner from the iconic Freetown. We would absolutely rent this VRBO again.

Nette Wohnung in toller Lage
Die Wohnung ist ordentlich, sauber und recht praktisch eingerichtet. Ihre Lage zwischen Christiana und den Kanälen ist super. Man kann die gesamte Altstadt zu Fuß erreichen. Vom Vermieter gab es eine umfangreiche und gut verständliche Anleitung zur Schlüssel-Entgegennahme und anderen Details der Wohnung und des Umfelds. Angenehm war auch, dass Basisgewürze und Zucker vorhanden waren. Wir danken Herrn Ulrik Ahlefeldt für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Great place and location
The place was very nice and well decorated! Wish we met the owner because of his artistic taste! It’s close to every nice neighborhood and the street is just gorgeous we absolutely loved it! Only very annoying point is the check out at 10 which is super early and the fact that we couldn’t leave our luggage in the appartement. We had to get to a luggage storage which was not close to the place and which happened to be super expensive 24€ For 6hours. So we lost energy and time on the last day when it’s not a huge effort to keep the luggage in the apartment. I rent my apartment too and I try to make things easy for my guests on their holidays.

Great location, cozy apartment
It has a great location and is close to most of the major sights. We rented bikes from the Donkey Republic app and used them for a few days to get around town. It's a great city and I highly recommend this apartment. The fifth floor wasn't an issue for us but just wanted to give a heads up that there's a lot of steps to club.

Very beautiful apartment
89 stairs to heaven: If you love art, you are here in the right place. If not, as well : ). It's a big flat full of light, and even if it is hot outside, it's inside comfortably cool, because it's always breezy from the sea. The shower is good, and if you want to cook, you'll find everything you need in the kitchen (thanks for tea and coffee, Ulrik). Last but not least: the communication with Ulrik was very quick and easy and helpful - we enjoyed our stay in the beautiful apartment very much and can recommend it!

So Close to ALL!
This is a great location to most everything you want to see in Copenhagen. Nyhavn, Stroget Street, Paper Island within walking distance. Metro was super close and accessible. The trip to the airport only 15 minutes away. Absolutely no need for a car- besides who wants to find parking. Apartment was very clean & bright and has everything you need. Ulrik's instructions and information prior were extremely detailed and helpful. The canal was charming and full of coffee shops and restaurants to choose. Yes the stairs to get home was a bit of work some nights but were aware from previous reviews and hopefully work off all the great food and beverages consumed during the holiday!. I have used VRBO and Airbnb many times and this was the first place that had the owners clothes in the drawers and closets and food- this was a bit odd to me but not a big deal- perhaps this could have been mentioned in the listing or at least when booked. But again it would not stop me from booking this apartment again. An amazing location in an amazing city

Great place to stay in Copenhagen!
This flat was perfect for our stay in Copenhagen. We knew going in about the stairs, so it was not an issue. The place was comfortable, and had lots of windows to let in fresh air on our especially warm stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the only thing we would have liked is a coffee maker, but certainly that is not a big deal overall! We liked being in Christianshavn, just a bit away from the noise and hustle of being right downtown, but still super close to everything. Ulrik was very easy to contact once we arrived, and he also gave us great suggestions for places to eat and visit. We were very happy with this choice of accommodation.

Angenehme Location mit temporär bedingter Unpässlichkeit
Für einen Kopenhagen-Trip eine ideale Unterkunft: gut gelegen (ruhig, dennoch ziemlich zentral gelegen in unmittelbarer Nähe zur "Freistadt" Christiania) und ansprechend eingerichtet. Der Vermieter war - auch im Vorfeld - jederzeit erreichbar und reagierte schnell (z.B. Whatsapp). Allerdings befindet sich die Wohnung im 5. Stock (kein Aufzug!) und während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde der Hausflur grundrenoviert, was dazu führte, dass er nicht betretbar war und wir die ziemlich ramponierte Hintertreppe benutzen mussten. Wenn der Hausflur fertig ist, sieht er bestimmt klasse aus. Vorsicht bei Anreise mit dem Auto: Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind begrenzt, die GRÜNEN Parkzonen sind teuer (tagsüber 16 dkr/Std., abends/nachts günstiger) und es wird hartnäckig kontrolliert.
