"I had a really great stay at the Bull Inn which is located in a lovely quiet village surrounded by the countryside.
My room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable, and because it’s so peaceful, I had a fabulous nights sleep. Beats noisy large chain hotels any day!!!
Lots of tea / coffee with biscuits provided which was nice as I’ve been to many hotels recently where you get minimal items.
Lots of free parking and directly outside your own room which was brilliant for carrying suitcases...

"Stayed here for 3 nights do a conference locally and it was perfect. Friday enjoyed a beautiful meal in the restaurant. Staff went above and beyond. Very approachable if I had any questions. Looking forward to coming back next year! "

"A lovely welcome and everyone during our stay were lovely. We stayed in the outside annexe so can’t comment on more internal rooms. These rooms were clean and well equipped just are ready for a refurb which judging from the rest of the property will be done I am sure. Still very worth a visit the restaurant was amazing "

"Lovely pub/hotel with lots of old world charm. Clean and comfortable in a great location. Stayed for Sunday lunch which was excellent. Bedroom was spacious and had everything you could need. My only very slight negative was the traffic noise, as our room was at the front. "

"Very friendly staff throughout our stay. Large room, very comfortable and nice to have a large fan keeping us cool at night. Only issue was the lack of power sockets in this day and age when tech is king, but we managed.
Ate at Milly's on the first evening and breakfast on both days, all very nice.
Would recommend, especially as Burghley House Estate is literally at the back of the hotel and Stamford itself is a lovely town."

"Great little hotel above an English Pub. Was relatively quiet after the pub closed. Great central location, friendly staff, wonderful food. No air conditioning but they did provide a couple of fans and we kept the window open so that cooled the room well enough. The beds were a bit on the firm side but overall was a great room. "
