  • This warm, homey log cabin has been completely refurbished and is exactly what many picture when planning a vacation to the heart of Yellowstone Country. Enjoy a spacious cabin with a gas fireplace, a full kitchen, and bathroom with a table and chairs. Downstairs in the main area are two full-size log beds, with a queen bed in the loft. Round out your day outside on the spacious deck, taking in the amazing, mountainous views.

The room was clean and the host was friendly. The bathroom could use a bit of an update. While losing power for a couple of hours during a storm wasn’t an inconvenience, however, since it happens frequently we felt the property could have been better equipped/prepared with supplies, i.e., flashlights or lanterns and informing guests what was happening.

Yellowstone Family Vacation

Comfortable cabin- enjoyed the ability to cook meals, have a clean in home bathroom and shower, and close proximity for exploring Yellowstone.

We appreciate it, the hospitality and comfort of the antler cabin and would happily stay there again when visiting Cook Citi.

Great place to stay at Cooke City. Nice, clean cabin, exactly as advertised. Hot water and heating worked great. Regular updates and check-in reminders from the host, with easy to understand instructions for check-in. Kitchen was equipped with all the usual utensils and appliances.

Outdated but sufficient

It was cozy a great mountain view and did the trick. As far as inside, missing kitchen window curtain, toilet was an issue, daily cleaning service was just okay and never relocked door when they left which was irritating, the stove is dated and took forever to cook simple things, carpet staples come through so got poked quite a few times.

Cooke City is a very unique place, and we were glad to experience it. The Antlers Lodge property worked for our stay, but it is definitely older and outdated. It snowed while we were there in June, which was unexpected, and we had some trouble getting the temperature comfortable overnight. The thermostat seemed to be on a timer and controlled the gas fireplace, so we had to turn it up high at night so it would be a normal temperature by morning.The location was quiet overall, but there were a few things to be aware of. There was no deadbolt on the door, and several people seemed to be regulars walking between the nearby properties, including between our unit and the one behind it. We could also smell the neighbors’ coffee brewing in the morning, so the units may not be very sound or scent isolated.That being said, Cooke City itself is charming, unusual, and worth visiting. Just know that the town closes early, so plan ahead for food and supplies.
