Spacious Lake District village house with own hot tub

At over 300 years old Bridge House is one of the oldest buildings in the Lake District village of Coniston. Though centrally located for all the amenities Coniston has to offer, The Bridge House is pleasantly secluded and peaceful. The house is large enough for 8 guests and the huge kitchen and spacious lounge make it perfect for those big family get-togethers and celebrations. The house is ideally situated in the centre of Coniston and just a short walk from the church, local stores, gift shops, cafe's and numerous pubs. Popular valley and mountain walks including the Old Man of Coniston & Tarn Hows can be accessed from the front door and the lake shore is less than a 15 minute stroll away.

Ground Floor
A slated entrance leads you into a huge kitchen/dining room, which can seat up to 20. Double hobs, ovens and slate work tops makes catering for big groups easy and hopefully hassle-free! The kitchen is fully fitted with gas range cooker & large hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, dryer & fridge/freezer.

The sitting room has ample space for the largest of groups to relax comfortably in. The central focus of the room is the impressive slate log fire, perfect for admiring on a cold winters night. There is also a TV & DVD player to keep the little (and big) ones entertained. To help keep the living areas tidy the house also benefits from a cloakroom, perfect for wet jackets, boots and bags.
There is also a separate WC, helpful should you just need to nip in from the hot tub.

First Floor
There's plenty of room upstairs too, with 4 doubles or twins and all with their own en suite bath/shower rooms.

Travelling with a dog?
We can offer free use of a 1 acre enclosed field in Coniston village, perfect for off the lead running, walking, training and playing. Use by arrangement with The Coppermines only.

Hot Tubs
You will have exclusive use of a hot tub for the duration of your stay.

Facilities included
Gas, bed linen, towels, initial logs for the fire, Wi-Fi.

Parking
Parking for 3 cars on the gravelled driveway to front of property.
