"Not a fancy place, but clean and staff was very helpful"

"This hotel need some maintenance had a leak in my room from a room upstairs. Staff was helpful with relocating me but wallpaper peeling off walls, one of the windows didn’t properly shut in room 310 and there ripe in one of my sheets. Also when I arrived there was still food in the fridge from a previous guest. The breakfast was good and the front desk staff on evenings was amazing but he seemed short staffed for the work he needed to complete."

"Very clean, quiet, and friendly. Staff was very welcoming, escorting us to our room and explaining everything. View of Wood River and pond from our room was fantastic. We saw a variety of birds and wildlife from our patio. We have stayed at the Stagecoach House Inn several times and plan to stay there again."

"Parking was great! So close to the entrance. The staff was very very friendly. And the little "kitchen" was quaint and convenient for making coffee and bagels (they also had cereal). The room was clean and the little patio was very private, considering it was on the 1st floor."

"This is a great hotel to stay in when visiting Newport. Great location and service from all staff. The room was ready and cleaned daily. A shuttle takes hotel guests to and from hotel to Thames street where all shops and eateries are. We enjoyed our time here and will visit again next time."

"This was a terrible makeover on a hotel that's been worn out. The floors were creaky and dirty. None of the ice machines worked. The rooms smelled terrible. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. For that price I would look at a different place to stay."
