"Wow! I found this place by chance, but it was thee perfect ideal place for my family and I. Cedar Glen Lodge truly embodies the North Lake Tahoe vive. Staff is very kind but our favorite part of the whole experience, was their garden with available grill and fire pit. We were able to do our very own cooking and meal prepa out there. I highly recommend this place! Thank you, Cedar Glen Lodge!"

"The front desk staff were so friendly; the room was SPOTLESS; the location is central: we’d stay again without hesitation. The only suggestion for improvement would be for them to replace the towels, which were small and thin. (The washcloths were plush and new.) "

"This was such a great experience for our family of 5. Two adults and three kids fit perfectly in the bed and the sofa bed. We loved our little cabin. We couldn't leave windows open because of the wildlife ( they had fans), but it was a little warm at bedtime ,but it cooled down.
They had basketball courts volleyball.courts, a rec room with popcorn, towels and board games. So cute ! And the best part it was less than 2 minutes walk to their private beach !
And not to mention very close to...

Once settled in my room walked the strip that has many options for dinner an shopping. Room was comfortable an at night it was very quiet. Check out was very simple with phenomenal service. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and walking on the bike paths to downtown Truckee. These are a bit on the expensive side, but worth a few days. "West River House was a pleasant surprise. It has a hostel vibe. The room was clean and the bed / pillows are very comfortable. We were most impressed with the detailed instructions for everything including parking, shower use, check in and checkout. We enjoyed the balcony as well.
