❤️ Colorado Log Cabin in the Aspens with a Hot Tub

Perfect Romantic Getaway for that Special Honeymoon, Anniversary, or just a Special time alone.

Proud Owner wants to share the unique experience of a 1200 sq/ft Log Cabin nested in the Aspen trees of Colorado. 2- bedrooms and 1.5 bath, (with heated bidet). Home provides cozy comfort for a secluded romantic getaway. Perfect for the discriminating couple, or couples, looking to get away from it all. The covered outside deck provides plenty of room for relaxation, endless views, stargazing outdoor BBQ and dining,. Treat yourself to a relaxing soak in the comfortable 2-person Hot Tub. There is plenty of room to park your vehicle. If you are traveling with an RV there is space to park your RV that includes a 50 amp service, but no water or sewer is provided. The cabin has WiFi service through Starlink that includes Netflix and Amazon.

There are numerous places to visit and explore within an hours drive. Cripple Creek for gambling and dining is 20 miles away. Eleven Mile Canyon offers stunning scenery and offers Gold Metal fly fishing on the South Platte River is less than 30 minutes drive from the cabin. Other nearby attractions include Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort in Buena Vista, Co which also offers River rafting along the Arkansas River. The Dinosaur Museum in beautiful downtown Woodland Park is also a very interesting place to visit. Cave of the Winds and Garden of the Gods is a must-see when visiting Manitou Springs located between Woodland Park and Colorado Springs.

The cabin is located 12 miles back on a County maintained dirt road that can be wash board and dusty at times, but is definitely worth the drive.

Please keep in mind, the cabin is located at 9200 ft elevation so this can have an effect on people who may have respiratory difficulties or are sensitive to higher elevations. Drink lots of water.

So come prepared to snuggle in and experience a true Colorado Mountain Cabin!

Amazing! What a beautiful place to stay! We stayed a few nights for our honeymoon.It was beautiful and clean and they had everything there available for use for your stay! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!It was romantic, comfy and homey. Beautiful decor!

This place was amazing. Myself and the wife needed a getaway to and reset. This place has any and everything you might need. Met Steve and spoke awhile. He was very friendly and even told me some places to check out. All in all it felt like home and we had an amazing experience at their home. Thank you guys for sharing this place with us!

Agree with the other reviews, the property is great! The home was CLEAN, which isn’t as common nowadays. My partner and I enjoyed a two night stay away from the city for their birthday. We would definitely stay here again. Things we enjoyed the most: plenty of tools/ dishes for cooking in, the hot tub, the dvd collection , cleanliness, and the solar power lights outside that provide visibility at night while not hindering with your ability to enjoy the night sky. You can definitely tell Steve and Joanne take pride in their home. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin, stocked with everything you need. We grilled two nights and had peaceful meals on the deck. The chipmunks entertained us while eating breakfast in the deck. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this was by far the most beautiful, comfortable, best stocked cabin we have stayed at.

This cabin was an absolute gem that exceeded all of our expectations. The thought and care put into every detail—both inside the cabin and in the outdoor surroundings—was truly astounding.The small but meaningful touches made all the difference: being able to test the warmth of the shower without leaning in, comfortable fans, cozy comforters, plush pillows, individual bed heaters, and a fully stocked kitchen complete with pots, pans, sharp knives, silverware, and even a full spice rack. Outside, we enjoyed the propane flat grill, BBQ grill, tables and seating, hammock, horseshoes, even a hose to wash the car—all while listening to birds at the feeder.The hosts went above and beyond, welcoming us with a greeting card and thoughtful goodies, and providing a well-organized book full of information about the cabin, the area, and local restaurant recommendations. They were close by if needed but gave us complete privacy.This was, without a doubt, the best stay we’ve ever had. We booked for a couple of weeks, but easily could have stayed for a couple of years! Our stay was great. I’ve never driven that far down a gravel road in my life. The road was in pretty good shape. When at the cabin it was all anyone could ask for. The best materials for cooking or grilling. We seen deer and even a moose go through the yard. The outside area was extremely nice. We spent as much time outside as inside.

60th Birthday Trip

The house is exactly as advertised anything you could possibly need is available. The hosts were amazing very quick to respond and very friendly. They even surprised me for my birthday. Loved our stay at this Colorado log home. It is nestled in beautiful aspen trees and the only sounds are birds and gentle breeze; also the private hot tub is a delight! As others have mentioned, the kitchen is well stocked; the bed is comfy; the towels are soft; the WIFI is strong but (our) cell service was spotty. If you are considering, go ahead and book it is as advertised PLUS.

Peaceful and relaxing

This cabin was the best stocked VRBO rental I have ever stayed in. It had not only the necessities but also all the extras you usually have to buy after flying in for a vacation. The location was very peaceful and central to the places we wanted to visit in Colorado. We spent a very relaxing 10 days and can highly recommend this home and area of Colorado.

Everything we wanted and more!

This home is perfectly appointed from the well stocked kitchen to the porch seating and dining area to the tiniest little touches! The property owners have built a home with love that radiates from every space. We were looking for a beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors and get away from everything, and this fit the bill perfectly! The drive in is mentioned in a lot of posts, so I feel it needs to be mentioned…it’s a gravel road. We live on one so it wasn’t an issue for us. If you’re expecting beautifully paved roads, this isn’t the place for you. However, it’s no different than EVERY county road in Colorado. Well worth the trip! There’s an amazing restaurant/bakery/brewery in town that we visited twice called the Iron Tree. We spent the rest of our time hiking/exploring the national parks that surround this property, and the homeowner was super helpful and responsive with suggestions on where to go. Will definitely be back!

Elopement and Honeymoon

This was wonderful and Steve was so helpful and responsive! From recommending a guide shop for fly fishing to helping us locate a shop to patch a tire. The cabin was wonderful and well stocked and their thoughtfulness to help us celebrate our elopement and honeymoon was such a sweet surprise! Highly recommended!

Quiet, cozy mountain getaway

The cabin is nestled among the beautiful aspen trees and has the best stocked kitchen of any rental property I’ve ever seen. We enjoyed watching the birds and chipmunks while relaxing on the porch. The accommodations are very comfortable and welcoming.

Cozy Mountain Cabin

We stayed at this lovely cabin for a week in mid August and it was a great time to be in the mountains. Steve and Joanne have taken great care to create a truly comfortable experience. We especially loved hanging out on the deck watching all the birds and enjoying the cool mountain breezes. There is absolutely everything you need in this cabin. Be willing to navigate washboard, dirt roads to get there but it's worth it! Highly recommend!
